Smooth Gragnano IGP Half Penne – 28 Pasta Makers

Mezze Penne Lisce di Gragnano PGI are the petite version of Penne Lisce, one of the most well-known yet sometimes unfairly overlooked types of pasta. With their diagonally cut ends, they’re inspired by fountain pen nibs. A shape like this is sure to leave a lasting impression. Made according to the artisanal tradition of Pasta di Gragnano PGI, they’re bronze-drawn to best hold sauces, and slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve all their nutritional and organoleptic qualities. Being an artisanal product, we recommend tasting them several times during cooking, because pasta is like life; it doesn’t require instructions or timing; it’s simply a matter of tasting to see when it’s just the way you like it.
