‘-Orzo biologico perlato (organic pearl barley) produced and packaged in Val d’Orcia by the Mulino Val d’Orcia company. Barley is a cereal rich in mineral salts, in particular it is rich in phosphorus. This aspect makes it particularly suitable for those engaged in intellectual activities. In addition, thanks to its properties it is an excellent emollient, diuretic and refreshing. With pearling, the outer layers of the bark are removed and consequently cooking time is decreased, but no key nutrients are removed.
